DESCRIPTION OF THE PAST DONOR-FUNDED PROJECTS

Over the past nine years, E2E Initiative has successfully implemented several donor-funded projects that promote women’s empowerment, rights advocacy, and community resilience.

1. Women Against Trafficking and Gender-Based Violence Project – Funded by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), this project strengthened the capacity of women and community leaders to identify, prevent, and report human trafficking and gender-based violence. Through extensive community mobilization and sensitization campaigns, over 500 women and girls were empowered with knowledge, reporting mechanisms, and access to local support systems to protect their rights.

2. Empowered Voices for Sustainable Livelihoods Initiative-  Supported by The Ambassador’s Foundation for Empowerment and Development (AMBFED), this intervention provided vocational training, mentorship, and microenterprise support to marginalized women and survivors of violence, promoting their economic inclusion and leadership participation.

3. Women’s Resilience and Recovery Project-  Implemented in partnership with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) during the COVID-19 pandemic, the project enhanced women’s livelihood security and access to health information, improving resilience during crisis periods.

4. Women’s Health and Education Access Project – Supported by the TY DANJUMA  FOUNDATION, this initiative enhanced access to quality healthcare and education for rural women and girls. The project provided free medical outreaches, strengthened maternal and child healthcare services, and conducted community sensitization and mobilization sessions on reproductive health and hygiene. Over 700 women and adolescent girls benefited directly through improved healthcare access, health education, and continued mentorship on sustainable well-being.
