The E2E Initiative is a non-profit organization registered in Nigeria dedicated to empowering rural women and girls in its coverage area.
Mission and Goal
* Mission : To empower, educate, and advocate for the rights and well-being of women and girls, particularly those in marginalized and rural communities. This is achieved through movement-building, advocacy, and capacity development initiatives, promoting access to education, healthcare, skills training, safe water, and opportunities.
* Goal : To create a just and inclusive society where women and girls have equal access to opportunities, actively participate in leadership and decision-making, and contribute meaningfully to sustainable community development.
Key Focus Areas and Programs
The organization aims to facilitate the achievement of total well-being for rural women and girls through several programs, including:
* Capacity and Skill Development : Providing skills training to enable women to live self-reliant and dignified lives (e.g., Free Digital Marketing Training for Entrepreneurs).
* Education and Mentorship : This includes an educational mentorship and development campaign for young girls and an Adult Literacy Program (ALIP).
* Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Projects: Undertaking projects like Small Scale Water Projects.
* Advocacy and Rights: Advocating for gender equality, such as responding to court rulings that uphold women’s inheritance rights.
* Climate Action: Projects like the GREENAIJA Movement focusing on Gender-Responsive Climate and Environmental Justice.
The initiative has also provided community intervention during challenges, such as the COVID-19 pandemic.
