Empowered to Empower the Less Privileged Women initiative attended the High-level meeting on gender Mainstreaming in advancing the gender agender in support of women and girl’s agency for sustainable change, the meeting was organized by SHE Forum Africa TM in partnership with Pathfinder International held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja.

The event was graced by high profiled personalities, a few among are the honourable Minister of women affairs Dame Pauline k. ,
Dr. Amina Salihiu – senior program officer, MacArthur Foundation,
H.E Toyin Ojora Saraki – Founder/president The wellbeing Foundation Africa,
Dr. Amina Aminu Dorayi – country Director pathfinder international,
Ms Inimfon Etuk – Founder, She Forum Africa
Mrs Joy Anih – MD/CEO Empowered To Empower the Less Privileged Women Initiative amongst many others.

Keynote presentations on the state of women and girls’ agency in Nigeria was given by Dr. Amina Salihu, she addressed the challenges of gender inequality, shared opportunities for sustainable growth and discussed progress achieved so far.

The fora agreed on a large scale that Women’s rights are human rights, as such every young woman should live up to her full potential without any form of bias or gender prejudice.

Empowered to Empower the Less Privileged Women Initiative(E2E) continues to strengthen her efforts and partner with leading Stakeholders to ensuring that women and girls enjoy sustainable livelihood.
